Discover What’s inside the Tower… – Descubrí que hay adentro de la hermosa torre….
In the neighborhood of La Boca, in the City of Buenos Aires, in the triangle formed by streets Almirante Brown, Benito Pérez Galdós and Wenceslao Villafañe, a peculiar building rises, called by its neighbors “The Ghost House”.
The Building was designed in 1908 by Frenchman Gustavo Lignac and caused great impact in the society of those times as it was built on a trapezoidal perimeter. But what grabs our attention most is the fact that at first sight the house looks like a little castle on top of which emerges a tower resembling the rook of the game of chess. Actually, the tower hides a water tank, the first one in the neighborhood.
An urban legend says that the spirit of a painter, whose name was Clementina, wanders the corridors of the old building. Maybe the legend would be easily ignored, if it wasn’t for its owners, who insist on the truth of those noises
La Casa embrujada de La Boca
En el Barrio de La Boca, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, en el triangulo que forman las calles Almirante Brown, Benito Perez Galdos y Wenceslao Villafañe, se levanta un edificio muy particular, que los vecinos llaman “La Casa del Fantasma”
El Edificio fue proyectado en 1908 por el francés Gustavo Lignac. Resulto un gran impacto para la época ya que se construyo sobre un perímetro trapezoidal y especialmente llama la atención porque tiene la primer apariencia es un pequeño castillito del cual sobresale una torre parecida a las tradiciones fichas de ajedrez. En realidad la torre disimula un tanque de agua, el primero del barrio.
Una leyenda urbana, cuenta que el espíritu de una pintora, su nombre era Clementina, recorre los pasillos del antiguo edificio. Tal vez la leyenda quedaría en el olvido, si no fuese por sus propietarios, quienes siguen insistiendo en la veracidad de esos ruidos…….
