If you would like to know the stories and architecture of the most important and remarkable buildings of Buenos Aires, and the histories of their inhabitants, this is your tour. Examples of Colonial architecture, Art Noveau, Art Deco, Rationalism and much more.

We are going to see some of the most renowned buildings in the city (from outside): the Legislative, Justice and Executive palaces. The Colón Opera House, the Kavanagh building (a turning point between deco and local rationalism), Barolo Palace (inspired in the Divine Comedy), Retiro railway station (a highlight in railway architecture), the current works in Puerto Madero. Also some examples of French Academic style.

We will visit the “El Ateneo Bookstore” (according to the National Geographic is the most beautiful in the world). The Metropolitan Cathedral. The Guemes Gallery which is an incredible example of the Floreale Style.

“Arqui-Cultura” – Tour de Arquitectura

Si desea conocer las historias y la arquitectura de los edificios más importantes y notables de Buenos Aires, y las historias de sus habitantes, este es su recorrido. Ejemplos de arquitectura colonial, Art Noveau, Art Deco, racionalismo y mucho más.

Vamos a ver algunos de los edificios más famosos de la ciudad (desde afuera): los palacios Legislativo, Justicia y Ejecutivo. ElTeatro Colón, el edificio Kavanagh (un punto de inflexión entre el art deco y el racionalismo local), el Palacio Barolo (inspirado en la Divina Comedia), la estación de trenes de Retiro (un punto destacado en la arquitectura ferroviaria), las obras actuales en Puerto Madero. También algunos ejemplos de estilo académico francés.

Visitaremos la “Librería El Ateneo” (según National Geographic es la más bella del mundo). La catedral metropolitana. La Galería Güemes, que es un increíble ejemplo del estilo Floreale.
