Polo Day

Full Polo Day program is designed for you to become a polo player for the day.

You begin the day with an informative talk about polo and its ponies while you taste some delicious empanadas and excellent argentine wine.

You will visit the pony line to observe the polo horses that will be playing the polo match and our guide will explain you how polo horses are selected for the sport, their blood lineages and how they are trained.

You will learn also about the rules of the game, the equipment used by the polo horse and the player and the different shooting techniques.

You will attend a professional live polo match of 4 chukers. With more than 30 horses in play, you will enjoy a fast paced polo game of pure adrenaline.

Lunchtime is part of this incredible Argentina Experience, a complete barbeque that includes “asado”, a grilled selection of meat and beef, accompanied by premium argentine wines. You will have the unique opportunity to try our delicious regional food (we also have a vegetarian option).

You will take a polo lesson where you will learn to ride a horse, hold the mallet and hit the ball. Believe it! You will end up sharing a mini polo match that will make you feel like a professional player!

It is not necessary to know how to ride a horse, nor do you have to have previous experience in polo. We offer equipment and instruction for all levels.

Empezamos el día con una charla sobre el juego y los caballos de polo, mientras pruebas unas exquisitas empanadas y buen vino argentino.
Visitamos los palenques para ver los caballos de polo seleccionados para el partido de polo y nuestro guía les explicará cómo los caballos de polo son elegidos para este deporte, sus líneas de sangre y cómo se los entrena.

Podrás aprender acerca de las reglas del juego, el equipamiento que se utiliza en el caballo de polo y en el jugador de polo y las distintas técnicas de taqueo.

Arriving at Capilla del Señor , you will discover the charm of this small town, combining an authentic Gaucho life with that of a rural atmosphere. Nice, quiet, little stores offering the best of our regional pastries, ice creams, pizzas. Neighbors greeting each other, and enjoying a chat at the door-house…simple, wonderful!

We will explain you the importance of this town into our history, you will explore the church, the park, the train station. At around 13:30hs we will visit the best estancia in the area owned by Argentina Polo Day, for you to enjoy the beauty of our countryside. A warm welcome with our regional empanadas and wine, and lunch is ready! Taste an exquisite BBQ, with assorted cuts of meats, farm-to-table vegetables and our premium Argentine wine.

To relax after lunch, you could walk around the estancia and visit the Museum of Native Art, you could lay by the pool, take a carriage ride or hope on the horse and canter on our carefully designed trail close by!

At 16.30hs we will be back to the city.

En Capilla del Señor, descubrirán un pequeño pueblo de la Pampa argentina con sus pequeños comercios y la típica plaza e iglesia. Al mismo tiempo vamos repasando la historia del gaucho y los pueblos nativos en la Llanura

Bs As Highlights and Gastronomy

Eat while you learn about Buenos Aires most important highliths.

We begin our tour in Plaza de Mayo where we will learn about history, economy and politics but also we will do a little stop to eat some typical croissants at a Popular Notable Café of the City.
After that we will head for one of the most interesting and colorful neighborhoods of Buenos Aires: La Boca, where we’ll visit Caminito and The Boca Jr Stadium (from outside) but also we will have an alfajor, and we’ll prepare and drink the most symbolic drink of Argentina: The Mate. This last we’ll do it in the house of an artist couple of La Boca.
Last but not least, we’ll visit the surprising Recoleta Cementery, this oddity which catches the attention of every visitor. Before leaving we will pick some empanadas in our way to Recoleta Cemetery
At last but not least we will taste a fabulous asado with a Malbec wine of course in a Parrilla near the Obelisk!.

Comenzamos nuestro recorrido en Plaza de Mayo, donde hablaremos sobre historia, economía y política, pero también haremos una pequeña parada para comer medialunas en un Café Notable de la Ciudad.
